A new grocery shopping option is coming to the New Orleans area.
German-based discount grocery chain Aldi began advertising yesterday for positions at four future metro area locations in Marrero, Metairie, Slidell, and Covington.
Founded in Germany in 1946, the company has over 10,000 locations in 20 countries with nearly 2,000 stores in the U.S.
The company has developed a loyal customer base for offering high-quality foods and products at prices lower than most U.S.-based grocery stores.
