New Orleans police are investigating the stabbing death of a woman on North Dorgenois Street in the 7th Ward Tuesday morning.
Police were called to the scene around 7:30 this morning and found the victim, who FOX 8 identified as Portia Pollack, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Pollack was rushed to a hospital where she died from her injuries.
New Orleans Police are searching for a person of interest, shown in the surveillance video below, who they believe has information vital to the case.

Police also note the victim's vehicle, a dark-colored 2016 Honda HR-V with Louisiana license plate 323ADB, was missing from the scene.
