A casino company hoping to move its gambling license to Slidell is offering a new enhanced proposal.
St. Tammany Parish officials met yesterday to discuss the new offer from Peninsula Pacific Entertainment, which says they would increase spending to $325 million on its proposed casino entertainment complex and build a $33 million sports facility.
The Parish Council will vote on June 30 to see if the plan is placed before voters on the November ballot.
