The majority of New Orleans residents don't feel the city is safe.

The New Orleans Crime Coalition released its survey of 800 residents this month with 64% reporting that they didn't feel that safe or not safe at all. 31% felt fairly safe and only 2% considered the city very safe.

74% of residents believe crime is a greater problem now compared to a year ago.

52% of all residents expressed satisfaction with the New Orleans Police Department but that's down five points over the last year.
