The city of New Orleans is being sued by the developers of the Hard Rock Hotel.
The developers filed a lawsuit against the city over a new ordinance that restricts the height of future construction at the site of the building collapse.
According to reports, the developers believe that lowering the maximum building height allowed at the site is an illegal taking of their property.
They are now asking an Orleans Parish Civil District Court Judge to void the measure.
