NBA insiders say the New Orleans Pelicans are in the running to add six-time All-Star free agent Kyle Lowry.
Sources reported yesterday that the Pelicans' general manager wants to make a significant offer to Lowry to add veteran leadership to the team at point guard.
The team recently traded Eric Bledsoe and Steven Adams, which freed up enough salary cap space to make Lowry a compelling offer.
Last season with Toronto, Lowry averaged 17 points and seven-assists per game.
