A woman in Louisiana went viral this week after posting a video of her quitting her job over the store's PA system.

Beth McGrath has worked at the Walmart in Carencro, just outside Lafayette, for almost five years. After what she described as poor store management as well as overworked and under-appreciated employees, she decided to quit in a very public way by airing out her grievances over the PA system.

She posted video of her rant to her Facebook page on Tuesday (September 14) where it has been seen over 100,000 times and received thousands of comments, per WBRZ. The short clip shows McGrath addressing management for the treatment of their employees.

"I'm tired of the constant gaslighting. This company treats their elderly associates like s---," she said, adding, "Shame on y'all for treating your associates the way you do. I hope you don't speak to your families the way you speak to us."

After also accusing her store management of being a "pervert" as well as calling out other employees by name, she gave a shoutout to her now-former associates, saying, "Walmart doesn't deserve y'all."

Since her video went viral, she has received support from people across social media. She posted a follow-up video on Wednesday to thank everyone had sent encouraging messages.

"Do not be afraid to speak your piece," she said, "even if it tears you down first."
