A couple of Louisiana congressmen are asking FEMA chief Deanne Criswell about the agency's response to Hurricane Ida.

Speaking to a U.S. House committee on Tuesday, Criswell said she's proud of how FEMA responded to the storm.

Democratic Congressman Troy Carter asked why some applicants for FEMA assistance are being denied because of mistakes they made on their applications.

Republican Congressman Clay Higgins asked Criswell about some funds that haven't yet arrived in the Lake Charles area, which was hit by two hurricanes more than a year ago.
