A man accused of shooting and killing a Louisiana State Police Master Trooper and one other person is now in a maximum security facility in Angola.
Matthew Mire is facing multiple charges connected to a multi-parish crime spree on October 9th; the night he shot Louisiana State Police Master Trooper Adam Gaubert, killing him.
That night, Mire is accused of shooting three other people, killing one more.
He is due in court early next month on murder charges, attempted murder charges, and more.
