NFL Officials Knew Of Kamara's Reported Assault Prior To Pro Bowl

NFL officials say they kNew Las Vegas police considered New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara a suspect in a nightclub battery before the Pro Bowl started on Sunday.

Commissioner Roger Goodell says the NFL knew the police wanted to talk to Kamara and allowed him to play in the game anyway.

Police arrested Kamara on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium after the Pro Bowl ended.

He was charged with battery resulting in substantial bodily harm and bonded out late Sunday night.
