The Coast Guard is no longer searching for the woman who jumped off the cruise ship Carnival Valor on Wednesday.

Search efforts were suspended at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday after the Coast Guard spent 14 hours searching more than 2,500 square nautical miles in the Gulf of Mexico.

The distraught 32-year-old woman reportedly jumped overboard on Wednesday afternoon about 150 miles south of the Louisiana coast.
