Nearly 100 high school students are participating in the cleanup effort in Arabi after the EF-3 tornado recently hit St. Bernard Parish.

Over 90 seniors at Holy Cross volunteered to clear away storm debris during their senior retreat.

Parish President Guy McInnis says homeowners and volunteers have picked up tons of debris from residential lots in Arabi.

The debris is piling up alongside the area's streets.
