Two state lawmakers are making a bipartisan effort to bring more jobs to Louisiana.
GOP state representative Thomas Pressly and Democratic representative Matthew Willard co-authored House Bill 795 to lure companies to come to Louisiana and grow their businesses.
The Louisiana Department of Economic Development already offers financial incentives for companies willing to relocate or expand in the state.
Pressly, Willard, and other state lawmakers believe more needs to be done to make Louisiana competitive with other states.
