No injuries are reported after an engine room fire on board the Natchez Steamboat.
New Orleans fire crews responded right after 8 p.m. on Tuesday to the fire on the boat and put it out in less than an hour.
Firefighters contained the damage to the engine room.
Boat employees on the scene told the fire department that crews had been torching switchgear panels in the engine room at about 5 p.m.
