Metairie Man Dies After Shooting At Gonzales Waffle House

One person is dead and two are wounded after a shooting at a Waffle House in Gonzales early Saturday.

Police responded shortly after midnight to the reported shooting in the parking lot of the restaurant on West Highway 30 near I-10. Officers found two victims who had been shot.

One of them, identified as 18-year-old Willie Bridges of Metairie, later died at a hospital.

The other victim, a juvenile, was hospitalized in Baton Rouge in stable condition.

A third victim, also a juvenile, turned up at a hospital in critical condition.
