Abortion clinics in Louisiana can continue performing the procedure despite a trigger law that went into effect after the fall of Roe v. Wade.

A lawsuit is challenging the state's ban.

Today, a judge extended a restraining order which keeps abortions legal until a jury rules.

One of the state's clinics is arguing the trigger law is vague when it comes to high risk pregnancies that put a mother's life in danger.
