Funeral arrangements are pending for former Louisiana congressman and state lawmaker Buddy Leach.
His family says he died Saturday in Baton Rouge at age 88.
Leach was elected four times to the state House of Representatives, starting in 1968. He was elected in 1978 to his one term in the U.S. Congress.
Gov. John Bel Edwards has ordered flags in the state to be flown at half-staff on the day of Leach's funeral.
