The Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal is now under new leadership.
Gov. Jeff Landry announced on Friday the appointment of Chief Chad Sonnier as Louisiana State Fire Marshal.
Landry also promoted Chief Bryan Adams to Principal Assistant to the Deputy Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Public Safety. The appointments take effect today.
Adams had served as State Fire Marshal since January 2024.
