Gov. Jeff Landry says he won't meet with New Orleans Mayor Helena Moreno until the conclusion of any investigation into the grand jury indictment of state Attorney General Liz Murrill.
An Orleans Parish grand jury indicted Murrill last month on eight counts each of malfeasance in office and public intimidation.
Landry made his announcement at a Wednesday afternoon press conference.
At the same briefing, Murrill said she may file a civil lawsuit against anybody who tampered with the grand jury proceedings.
