A convicted felon is back behind bars following his arrest last week for parole violations.
After Anthony Thomas was arrested, Tangipahoa Parish deputies and Hammond police searched a home on Airport Road in the Hammond area and found several guns, ammo, gun accessories, marijuana, and illegally obtained prescription pills.
Thomas now faces a list of drug and weapons charges, plus resisting arrest and obstruction of justice.
Thomas had previously been locked up for aggravated assault with a firearm and illegal use of weapons.
