Dove Hunting Season Opens Saturday In Louisiana

Dove season opens in Louisiana this Saturday.

It's also Labor Day weekend, when many people will be outdoors and on the water.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is reminding hunters to practice gun safety, which includes staying sober behind the trigger.

Hunters are also advised to have the proper licenses, know the regulations and remember the bag limit is 15 doves a day.

Hunting season opens at 30 minutes before sunrise.
