New Orleans is remembering Dolly Parton on a date with a connection to one of her popular songs.
The Krewe of Dolly announced Tuesday that its celebration of life for Dolly has been moved from this Saturday to Friday, September 25th, which the group is calling "9-2-5 Day."
Mayor Helena Moreno and the New Orleans City Council also reportedly plan to proclaim September 25th as "Dolly Day."
Details have yet to be announced about the day's parade route and other festivities.
