A couple of New Orleans Saints are on their way to free agency after having been released by the team.
Running back Devin Neal and defensive end Michael Heldman were placed on the injured reserve list last weekend as the club finalized its 53-man roster.
The Saints released both players from reserve on Thursday.
Upon completion of standard injury settlements, both players will become free agents and will remain eligible to re-sign with the Saints later in the season.
