Tropical Depression In Time For Weekend?

It may not look like much now, but the National Hurricane Center continues to think that an area of disturbed weather currently in the Caribbean will get its act together once it gets into the Gulf of Mexico later this week.

“Regardless of development, locally heavy rainfall is possible across western Cuba and the Cayman Islands during the next few days, and over much of Florida and the northern Gulf Coast during the weekend,” read the latest special tropical weather outlook.
