Tropical Storm Leslie Will Remain A "Fish Storm"

In the central Atlantic, Leslie is once again a tropical storm and could become a hurricane later in the week.

But for now, the system will remain a "fish storm" and not impact land - at least, not directly.

Swells generated by Leslie affecting Bermuda, the Bahamas, portions of the coast of the southeastern United States, and most of the Greater and Lesser Antilles during the next few days. The National Hurricane Center says the swells will likely cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions in those areas.

Leslie will continue to meander in the Atlantic for a while with little to steer the storm until the weekend.
