Officials in Terrebonne Parish are closing the Bubba Dove Floodgate in anticipation of Tropical Storm Barry.
The Bubba Dove gate is the largest in the parish and sits in the Houma Navigation Canal.
The floodgate rises an estimated 18-feet above sea level.
The parish has now closed all 13 of their floodgates and authorities say their 90 pumping stations are online with back-up generators ready to go.
