Severe Weather Threat For Southeast Louisiana Starts Tuesday

Southeast Louisiana is once again in the bullseye for severe weather.

"Heavy rainfall will be a concern across the area starting Tuesday and continuing through Thursday," said the National Weather Service New Orleans office. "This heavy rain could lead to some flooding issues."

Rainfall amounts of anywhere between four to eight inches is possible.

Southeast Louisiana is also under a marginal risk for other types of severe weather, including damaging wind gusts, hail and possible tornadoes.
