New Orleans airport officials are advising travelers to check with the airlines for the latest flight information and to reschedule if necessary.
Starting Tuesday night, more than 130 flights were canceled at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport ahead of the arrival of Hurricane Francine.
The airport says the airlines determine when to cancel or delay flights.
A look at the arrivals and departures board from the airport's website showed a number of cancellations on Thursday morning.
At the Baton Rouge airport, there were also a number of cancelled departures along with a few delayed arrivals on Thursday morning.
Passengers who need to re-schedule can speed things up at the check-in counters if they rebook their flights before coming to the airport.
