Remember when Kevin Hart lost a hosting gig for a homophobic comment he made several years ago?
Apparently the liberal thought movement doesn't have the same rule for white ladies on Left leaning cable news networks.
On Wednesday MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski described Mike Pompeo with a homophobic phrase. She's yet to be punished by her network.
She called Secretary of State Mike Pompeo a “wannabe dictator’s butt boy” during a segment of “Morning Joe”, her husband’s talk show which she co-hosts.
It's okay though, because she's a white liberal.
Mika is basically saying it's demeaning to be gay. I'm surprised she'd take such a stance, considering she hangs out with a man as feminine as Joe Scarborough.
The homophobic remark happened in response to Pompeo ducking questions in a “Fox & Friends” interview about Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s role in the killing of journalist Jama Khoshoggi.
“Wy doesn’t Mike Pompeo care right now? Are the pathetic deflections that we just heard when he appeared on ‘Fox & Friends’ — is that a patriot speaking? Or a wannabe dictator’s butt boy? I’m dead serious. I’m asking: Are these the words of a patriot?”
I'm dead serious: are these the words of a homophobe? Why did Kevin Hart, a black man who isn't political, get punished for doing something almost a decade ago while Mika did the equivalent this week and went unpunished?
Yes, I understand, the execs at NBC are not the execs at the Academy Awards. That's fair. This year ABC will host the Oscars. Fine.
But the point still remains: if a comedian can't say it in 2010, why would a major network news personality be allowed to make similar remarks in 2018?
There’s no consistency in morals on the Left. They make up the rules as they go along because deep down inside they don't believe in anything short of being the opposition to the Right. They selectively get offended and rarely make sense.
Liberal thoughts leaders are absent of substantive thought.
