Reuters Covered Up Beto "Cult of the Dead Cow" Scandal During 2018 Election

On Friday the world learned about 2020 Democrat presidential primary candidate Beto O'Rourke's former affiliation with a computer hacker organization known as Cult of Death Cow (cDc) and his opinions about women being "sluts" who he mocked for being abused by their "violent boyfriends".

The Cult of the Dead Cow was an online community of hackers and pollitical extremists founded in Lubbock, Texas in 1984.  With a name like "cDc", this story almost sounds too crazy to be real, but apparently back in 1988 a 15-year-old Beto O'Rourke wrote fictional stories about murdering people and posted them on cDc's online message board.

In case you're wondering why this news didn't surface during Beto's 2018 Senate campaign against Republican Ted Cruz, we have Reuters to thank for that stroke of journalistic integrity.

Reuters revealed on Friday that their reporter had the story two years ago but agreed to sit on it until after O'Rourke's Senate race against Ted Cruz was over.

The report documented O'Rourke's involvement in the Cult of the Dead Cow and some of his past writings which are being described by fellow Democrats as "disturbing".

Reuters reported, "After more than a year of reporting, [Joseph] Menn persuaded O’Rourke to talk on the record. In an interview in late 2017, O’Rourke acknowledged that he was a member of the group, on the understanding that the information would not be made public until after his Senate race against Ted Cruz in November 2018."

So Reuters tried to protect Beto from his own scandalous past. Great journalism, guys.

O'Rourke's old writings for the group were penned under the alias 'Psychedelic Warlord'. Beto described women as "sluts" and mocked them for being abused by "violent boyfriends".

He said the best way to deal with women was to tell them they're "completely ugly" and inform local "Nazi Skins" that the women have "AIDS."

And this guy calls himself a feminist? Yikes.
