Pels Look To Bounce Back After Winless Weekend

Ricky Rubio led the way with 30 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as the Jazz clobbered the Pelicans 116-99 in New Orleans.

Donovan Mitchell pitched in with 27 points and Joe Ingles scored 20 for Utah.  Rudy Gobert had 19 points and 16 rebounds in the winning effort.  The Jazz have won six-straight and are percentage points out of the final playoff spot in the West at 37-and-30.

Anthony Davis returned to the lineup with a triple-double with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 blocked shots for the Pelicans.  New Orleans fell to 38-and-28 with its second-straight loss.

Without Davis, the Pelicans 10-game win-streak came to a end Friday night against the Wizards 116-97.

Otto Porter Junior paced the Wizards with 19 points.  Markieff Morris chipped in with 17 points and Bradley Beal added 16 for Washington.  

Darius Miller led New Orleans with 20 points off the bench.

New Orleans returns to action Tuesday at the Smoothie King Center against the Charlotte Hornets.
