Tangipahoa Parish authorities are working to track down those responsible for the reported theft of bee boxes in recent days.
Our news partner WVUE/FOX 8 reports five of them were reportedly stolen April 6th from a residence in Tickfaw while six bee boxes and a swarm box went missing from outside a home in Hammond earlier this week.
The owners derive income from the honey harvested from the boxes, and those who stole them will face felony theft charges.
