The gas-price picture in Louisiana is growing uglier.
According to AAA, the statewide average price of regular in Louisiana has climbed to almost $2.50 a gallon, up about six cents compared to a week ago.
A year ago, the fuel was averaging $2.21 a gallon, or about 30 cents less than now.
