Smoothie King will be moving its corporate headquarters out of Louisiana to a site in Irving, Texas.
The Dallas Business Journal reports the firm, currently headquartered in Metairie, will relocate this summer, but will likely leave a small percentage of corporate staff based at the Metairie office.
Smoothie King was founded in 1973 and originally located in Kenner. It now has more than 900 stores operating nationwide.
The report says the company will keep the naming rights to the Smoothie King Center.
