If you hate the high prices of gasoline in Louisiana - hate on, haters. There doesn't appear to be any chance of them going down anytime soon.
At midweek, AAA reports the statewide average price of regular is inching towards $2.55 a gallon and has climbed to $2.52 in New Orleans.
In the Big Easy, the fuel is up a dime compared to a month ago and cost 40 cents more than a year ago.
