A mid-week check of gas prices in the Pelican State is revealing more bad news for drivers.
AAA reports the average price of regular is up a nickel from last Wednesday to $2.59 a gallon, with no sign of the daily increases ending anytime soon.
The travel group says prices have continued to rise nationwide after the Trump administration's decision to withdraw from the Iranian Nuclear Deal.
This time last year, a gallon of regular in Louisiana was almost 50 cents cheaper.
