A Louisiana judge is taking a leave of absence after accusations were made that he sexually assaulted a teenage girl last summer in two states.
Jeff Perilloux who sits on the bench in the 40th Judicial District Court apparently began his leave Wednesday with a retired judge handling his docket for now.
No criminal charges had been filed as of last night with a grand jury expected to hear the Louisiana case in late June.
The 15-year-old claims she was also assaulted in Destin, Florida.
