Louisiana 1088 between I-12 and Fish Hatchery Road will be closed for roughly four hours tomorrow.
The stretch of road will be closed between eight a.m. until around noon, and motorists are advised to use LA 59 and LA 434 as alternate routes.
The closure stems from an active shooter exercise at Mandeville's Lakeshore High School as the sheriff's office, the school district and fire department team up for training.
Tomorrow's drill comes as officials re-visit security protocols in the event a shooting takes place on campus, and evaluate where changes can be made.
