Gas prices are still pretty high compared to those of a year ago, but they are coming down.
Here in the New Orleans area, AAA says the average price of regular has dropped to around the $2.58 a gallon mark.
That's a three-cent drop in a week's time, but still almost 55 cents higher than a year ago.
