Gas prices are continuing to fall across Louisiana but that could change sooner rather than later. At least that's the word from AAA that cites a recent record demand for fuel and shrinking fuel inventories.
At midweek, the statewide average price of regular in the Pelican State is in the ballpark of $2.59 a gallon, down close to four cents from last Wednesday. This time last year, regular was averaging $2.10 a gallon.
