Two individuals from Florida and one from Texas are facing criminal charges after being pulled over for a seat belt violation in Jefferson Parish.
State police believe the three are part of the "Felony Lane Gang," a disorganized group of criminals from South Florida that break into parked cars, using window rescue punchers in the smash-and-grab thefts.
Tuesday's arrests led to the seizure of eleven driver's licenses from Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas, along with 22 credit cards, five checkbooks and $12,000 cash.
