The father of a four-year-old Chalmette girl is facing a charge of negligent homicide in the death of the child.
The daughter of 27-year-old Karama Wylie died in an apparent accidental shooting last Thursday night at a home on Pierre Street.
Wylie was arrested Tuesday by St. Bernard Parish deputies in the aftermath of an investigation into the incident. He's also charged with possession of a stolen weapon and possession of marijuana.
