The cost of driving in Louisiana is going up, at least as far as gas prices are concerned.
The average price of regular has now climbed past $2.61 a gallon, four cents higher than last Friday. AAA says the increase comes as crude inventories experience the largest one-week drop since the fall of 2016.
On average, motorists in the Pelican State are paying about 55 cents more for a gallon of regular compared to a year ago.
