A woman is dead as a result of a violent domestic dispute that ended in gunfire Tuesday afternoon.
Jefferson Parish authorities say 30-year-old Dominique Farria of New Orleans was shot in the neck by a man who had been riding on the hood of her car and then got off and opened fire through the windshield. She died at University Medical Center.
The shooter was arrested, but as of late last night his name had not been released and charges against him had not been announced.
