New Orleans police and the state fire marshal are investigating the remains of two people found in a brush fire.
The Orleans Parish coroner's office will examine the bodies to determine cause of death and to identify the victims.
The bodies were found after firefighters put out a brush fire in Algiers around 11:30 last night.
