Authorities say they've made an arrest in a deadly pedestrian hit-and-run in Ascension Parish.
State police say 31-year-old Christian Martinez of Kenner was struck and killed while walking on the southside of LA-73 north of I-10 just before 7 a.m. Monday. He died at the scene.
Troopers later arrested 29-year-old Brittany Mackey of Prairieville, charging her with negligent homicide and felony hit-and-run resulting in death.
