Gas prices are heading lower on this shortened work week in Louisiana.
AAA reports the statewide average price of regular is continuing to slowly fall as it prepares to slip into $2.57 a gallon territory, which would be about four cents cheaper compared to a month ago.
A year ago, regular was averaging $2.35 a gallon in the Pelican State.
