East Coast Getting Help From Louisiana As Florence Approaches

Hurricane Florence is expected to rip areas of the East Coast apart beginning Friday as it makes landfall somewhere between South Carolina and Virginia.

Hundreds of people from Louisiana, including first responders, utility workers and members of the Cajun Navy are descending on storm-targeted areas to assist where needed.

The Cajun Navy gained world-wide respect for its volunteer efforts in rescuing victims during the August 2016 flooding in Louisiana and from floodwaters created by Hurricane Harvey in Texas.
