Gas prices are going nowhere as you try to get somewhere on this weekend.
AAA reports the statewide average price of regular has been holding around the $2.58 a gallon mark for a month now and is edging lower at a barely noticeable pace as summer ends and fall begins Saturday.
A year ago, the average price of the fuel in Louisiana was about 20 cents cheaper.
