Disney Cruise Line is coming to New Orleans for the first time ever.
Winter cruises aboard the Disney Wonder in 2020 were announced Thursday. They will include four, six and seven nights in the Western Caribbean, five and seven nights in the Bahamas, and a 14-night westbound Panama Canal Cruise that ends in San Diego.
“I could not be more proud that Disney Cruise Line has selected the City of New Orleans as one of their home ports,” New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell said in a statement. “This is a huge win for our community, for our businesses and for our people. My administration is focused on expanding opportunities for families in the community, and families visiting New Orleans."
There will be six cruises in all during what Disney Cruise Line calls a "limited-time" season. Booking will be open to the public starting on Thursday, October 4 through disneycruise.com,
